About The Position

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and maintaining accurate inventory levels to support efficient business operations. This role will ensure that all inventory transactions are recorded correctly, discrepancies are resolved promptly, and inventory processes follow company standards and best practices. Requirements

  • Able to follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety and quality assurance practices
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and able to think creatively to devise best inventory control practices
  • Strong computer knowledge including ERP Systems, Microsoft Office, and label printing experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to count accurately by hand and with a calibrated scale
  • Strong understanding of cycle count processes
  • Ability to multi-task, follow procedures and adapt to changes / improvements
  • Five years or more’ inventory experience and/or training

Nice To Haves

  • Prior warehouse and/or production experience preferred
  • ERP Systems, SAP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, production and logistics teams to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts through daily cycle counts, audits and reconciliations
  • Track inventory levels and notify management of shortages, overages or potential supply issues
  • Communicate discrepancies or issues promptly to Supervisors and relevant departments
  • Monitor and identify expiring or nonconforming chemicals and materials, properly document them and transfer them to MRB for evaluation and disposition
  • Pick and stage material requisition items for work orders, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation and timely delivery to support uninterrupted production flow
  • Fill Production bins with raw materials to support one-piece flow manufacturing lines, ensuring correct quantities, proper labeling and timely replenishment to maintain steady production operations
  • Perform scrap transactions in the ERP system, ensuring part number, quantity, batch/lot and locations are accurate
  • Conduct root-cause checks for recurring scrap issues and report trends to Supervisors/Management to support continuous improvement
  • Additional responsibilities as needed
  • Coordinate material movement to and from Off-Site warehouse
