Inventory Control Associate - Receiving
About The Position
Experienced in receiving, material flow, and forklift operation—and take pride in accuracy and efficiency? Custom Filters Direct is seeking a reliable Inventory Control Associate to take ownership of raw materials, inventory accuracy, and supplying production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing the full cycle of raw materials—from receiving and verification to supplying materials to production. This position requires hands-on forklift experience and a strong understanding of inventory control processes in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Requirements
- Previous receiving, inventory control, or warehouse experience required
- Forklift experience required (2+ years preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift in a production or warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of inventory processes and material flow
- Proven ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent bending, reaching, and handling materials
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and documentation
- Manage the full cycle of raw materials, including receiving and supplying production
- Safely operate a forklift to move, stage, and deliver materials to production areas
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and locations of raw materials
- Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Ensure proper organization and material flow throughout the facility
- Work closely with production to ensure materials are available when needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety and operational procedures
