Commitment to Quality Care: Inventory Control Analyst - ER - Evenings - NYP Columbia University Irving Medical Center At NewYork-Presbyterian, our Inventory Control Analysts are pivotal to the cost effective care and caring of our patients. Our Inventory Control Analyst assist in the daily activities associated with the processing distribution and monitoring of Emergency Department supplies for the #1-ranked hospital in New York (U.S. News & World Report), reviews inventory activity reports to investigate and monitor stock items showing inventory deficiencies as well as conducts periodic physical counts of shelf stock to be compared to system stock status report and whenever necessary prepares adjustment records and documentation for authorization and submission to the system This is evenings position working from 4:00 pm to 12:30am, with rotating weekend coverage required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 - 2 years experience
- Knowledge of basic inventory control concepts and proven ability to perform accurate record keeping
- all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
