About The Position

Ensuring the accuracy of the inventory by Validating and maintaining all inventory data and bookkeeping records Coordinating cycle counts and other physical inventory processes Understanding, reviewing and communicating inventory concerns to production management, Manufacturing Production Planning, Manufacturing/Supply Purchasing, Assistant Controller and other appropriate management positions by Daily interaction with production and warehouse associates Investigating potential areas of concern Reviewing daily production schedules Ensuring documented best practices are adhered to Accepting additional responsibilities as determined by the Assistant Controller and Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • high school diploma or equivalent experience
  • 1 year of manufacturing plant experience
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • have an excellent attendance and punctuality record
  • ability to work the Sun day after month end closes
  • ability to work nights, weekends, holidays or extended periods of time when asked on a periodic basis
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • have excellent safety work habits
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • desire to learn and the ability to accept change
  • ability to plan, organize and follow-through on assignments
  • strong time management, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • ability to work with little or no supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other analytical discipline
  • 3 years of experience with SAP software
  • knowledge of accounting and operational processes within a Manufacturing environment
  • experience with inventory record keeping
