As a warehouse Inventory Control Analyst, your primary responsibility is to manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure accurate stock availability for timely order fulfillment while minimizing waste and discrepancies. You will play a crucial role in maintaining day-to-day precise inventory records, analyzing data trends, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency within the distribution warehouse. You will ensure inventory accuracy, minimize discrepancies, and facilitate the efficient flow of goods while adhering to food safety regulations and quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to support efficient order processing and prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Utilize inventory management systems to track stock movements, adjustments, and replenishments. Analyze inventory data, including consumption patterns, reorder points, and lead times, to make informed decisions and recommendations. Generate regular reports on inventory performance, highlighting discrepancies, and suggesting corrective actions. Conduct regular physical inventory counts to reconcile with system records and identify discrepancies. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies found during audits. Collaborate with the demand planning team to forecast inventory needs based on historical data, seasonal trends, and sales projections. Adjust inventory levels and replenishment strategies accordingly to align with forecasted demand. Identify areas for process optimization to enhance inventory accuracy and streamline warehouse operations. Implement best practices and procedural changes to minimize errors and enhance efficiency. Collaborate with Planning and Operations teams to ensure that inventory meets established food safety and quality standards. Monitor inventory for any potential quality issues and take corrective actions as needed. Work closely with warehouse associates, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth inventory operations. Communicate inventory-related updates, issues, and recommendations to relevant teams. Provide training to warehouse staff on proper inventory handling procedures, data entry, and use of inventory management systems. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to food safety, health, and quality standards. Implement a loss prevention program. Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately. Review work schedule, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear. Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights. Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry. Performs general housekeeping duties in work area as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Steel toe or composite closed-toe shoes (protective safety footwear) are required in select business units. Must be able to meet predictable attendance and punctuality expectations and physical demands of the position complying with Ethnix Group’s policies and performance expectations. Ensure the company complies with the standards and policies required by its certifications, ie: National Organic Program Certify and promote processes that ensure compliance with cold chain requirements in operational activities
