We have big plans for how we are going to accomplish this, and we would love for you to join us in this effort.   As the Inventory Control Analyst you will manage and audit inventory control policies and procedures that contribute to the fiscally responsible use of WK Kellogg owned inventory.  Provides end-to-end accountability for inventory control processes and operational efficiencies with our External Manufacturers. The role is part of a hybrid work environment – proximity to Battle Creek, MI is desired.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience in inventory control, logistics or related discipline.
  • Ability to influence, manage conflict, and build cross functional relationships with key stakeholders and inventory locations.
  • Excel and Microsoft Office Suite expertise and SAP exposure/experience
  • Investigative Mindset – Ability to work with complicated data and a desire to research and develop solutions.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and perform analytical functions to resolve issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience a PLUS

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Attention to Detail: Create Process Orders both weekly and offline for external manufacturing. Including but not limited to production orders for weekly production, packaging and ingredients. Modify and update POs and STOs for the organization and resolve shipping discrepancies.
  • Be a Solutionist: Research and resolve operational issues such as SKU set-up and errors, Transplace data flow, and EDI failures. Resolves outstanding issues with inbound and outbound STOs. Run bi-weekly GRIR report and distribute for evaluation. Run process to delete old open requisitions. Run and review damage and aged reports to maintain inventory systems.
  • Lead and Support: Provide support across the organization to trouble-shoot, train, and assist in various areas. (Finance Variance Report errors/GBS contract errors/PPV issues)
  • Operational Problem Solving: Conduct weekly inventory audits and reconciliations for raw materials, finished goods, and packaging to ensure accurate system records supporting reliable forecasting and planning.
