About The Position

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels, and supporting the efficient flow of materials and products. This role plays a key part in ensuring inventory accuracy, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting daily warehouse or store operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, or stock control preferred
  • Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform basic math and record-keeping tasks
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items up to up to 15 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse or stockroom environment

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory and supplies
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular audits and cycle counts
  • Update inventory records using inventory management systems or spreadsheets
  • Label, organize, and store products in designated locations
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or shortages
  • Prepare inventory reports and documentation as required
  • Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure stock availability
  • Follow company procedures for inventory control and safety standards
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and stock replenishment
