Overview Job Summary This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records of product inventory by performing daily counts and taking steps to correct and prevent discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Performing basic math (add, subtract, divide and multiply, understanding of working with negative, as well as, positive numbers).
  • Be self-directed, dependable, demonstrate initiative and possess excellent time management skills.
  • Communicate utilizing excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail in order to effectively monitor progress and complete assignments.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with co-workers, supervisors, vendors, customers and others.
  • Perform repetitious work accurately and with mental alertness.
  • Learn and memorize location of product and warehouse procedure.
  • Utilize proficiency with numeral data and calculations.
  • Perform quick and accurate 10-key data entry.
  • Prioritize and perform a variety of simultaneous tasks (multi-tasking).
  • Perform primary duties with efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts of pick slot product.
  • Perform rechecks of identified count differences between system and manual count.
  • Communicate issues requiring further follow-up.
  • Perform rotating monthly audits of reserve product in aisles, includes verification of UPC, slot placement and count.
  • Perform daily/weekly counts of perishable items such as meat and dairy, includes verification of expiration dates, counts, product condition and quality.
  • Communicate issues to supervisor and buyers.
  • Conduct as necessary any search to locate misplaced or missing product.
  • Input system adjustments and document appropriately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
