Maintains accurate manual and computerized records of all orders for supplies. Job Responsibility Places all orders for all supplies using established Material management Systems (i.e.: computerized order entry). Establishes standing and blanket orders by initiating proper paperwork. Maintains all related paperwork (i.e.: requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, etc.) and files accordingly. Expedites purchases when necessary. Maintains and update files and filing systems.Files correspondence, reports, etc. Updates computerized data as necessary. Communicates with Purchasing, Receiving and other departments as necessary. Performs various clerical duties, as required: Answers telephone and takes messages. Photocopying. Greets office visitors (i.e.: staff, Sales Reps., etc.). Performs all clerical duties relating to the Inventory Management Systems primarily the computerized inventory control system. Performs related duties, as required. ADA Essential Functions Job Qualification High School Diploma, or equivalent, required. Prior related experience, required. Knowledge of computerized inventory systems, preferred. Ability to learn to operate computerized keyboard, preferred. Ability to operate a calculator, required. Good mathematical ability, required.
