About The Position

The inventory clerk is responsible to inventory (scanning), organize, requisition, receive and stock parts and supplies. Axis Pipe and Tube LLC is committed to helping partners in the oil and gas industry achieve superior results by supplying premium-quality oil country tubular goods (OCTG) and line pipe products and delivering necessary service. Located in Bryan, Texas, their manufacturing facility can produce over 300,000 tons of electric resistance welded (ERW) OCTG and Line Pipe annually, using the latest technology and manufacturing techniques to ensure product quality and safety standards. The company is also committed to providing a safe, healthy workplace for every employee. They serve partners requiring a wide range of specifications and can supply products according to international standards such as API 5L, API 5CT, ASTM.

Requirements

Or one to three months related experience and/or training.
Must be able to read and understand the Standard Operating Procedure for the position held.
Must follow basic Safety Rules and Regulations.
Pass required physical
Computer experience (Office)

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Responsibilities

Attend to pre-shift daily meetings conduct by the shift lead/supervisor, to go over safety talk, daily priorities, and buildings schedules (per production planning reports), check the non-scanned pipe from SAP report and the yard planning.
Responsible for maintaining the pipe inventory, including but not limited to, customer, product size, weight, grade, and the location of each pipe being stored.
Maintains pipe inventory yard along with location of pipe.
Conducts an annual physical inventory of the yard.
Responsible for completing any assignments given by Supervisor, even those assignments not specifically listed in this job description.
