About The Position

The Inventory Associate III plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management within a non-durable goods manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for overseeing inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and finished products. The role requires close collaboration with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize discrepancies. The Inventory Associate III will analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this position ensures that inventory operations align with company standards and contribute to seamless manufacturing workflows.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and advanced computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required by the job.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or higher in supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
  • Experience with non-durable goods manufacturing inventory processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft D365 or SAP.
  • Certification in inventory management or supply chain (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor junior inventory staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily inventory activities including receiving, storing, and issuing materials and finished goods.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with production and procurement teams to forecast inventory needs and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Responsible for supporting team development and alignment of goals to meet business objectives.
  • Responsible for managing escalation events and support in resolving team issues.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
