We are currently hiring for the role of Inventory and Expedite Specialist. Summary: The Inventory and Expedite Specialist is responsible for managing vendor communications, tracking purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. This role serves as a key link between vendors, internal teams, and customers by providing accurate order status updates, coordinating purchasing activities, and supporting warehouse operations through cycle count administration.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, order management, customer service, or a related office role preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail a must
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Expedite open purchase orders with vendors to ensure on-time delivery
  • Obtain and maintain accurate expected ship dates
  • Communicate order status, delays, and updates to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to improve responsiveness and reliability
  • Assist with purchasing activities for assigned vendors, including issuing purchase orders and monitoring order progress
  • Maintain accurate records of order status, vendor communications, and delivery schedules
  • Coordinate and administer cycle count programs for warehouse personnel
  • Track, reconcile, and report inventory discrepancies identified during cycle counts
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to resolve inventory and order issues
  • Support continuous improvement of purchasing and inventory control processes
