Scope The Inventory Analyst - Distribution is responsible for all site distribution transactions as they pertain to inventory management. This role will assist in expediting materials and providing input into NCMR system (Non-Conforming Material Review). Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Inventory Analyst - Distribution works cross functionally with Operations, Procurement and Quality Departments to ensure the transactional accuracy and timely obtainment of raw materials.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One to three years of inventory management, production planning and/or master scheduling experience in a regulated manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), e-mail and Internet.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Interpersonal skills to include customer-focused orientation with both internal and external customers.
  • Strong decision-making skills, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comprehensive organization and analytical skills; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately evaluate and help resolve issues that arise concerning inventory or workflow.
  • Reconciles cycle counting activities, performing root cause analysis on any discrepancies.
  • Provide input regarding material availability, spikes in production requirements and unplanned business requirements as needed.
  • Complete electronic inventory transactions as required.
  • Generate inventory reports/queries and communicate inventory discrepancies to department management.
  • Assist with processing RMA's (Return Material Authorization's) and coordinate any repacking needs with each manufacturing group.
  • Review and follow all pertinent SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and Work Instructions as needed.
  • Follow all Company safety policies, rules and procedures at all times; maintain a strong safety mindset. Always wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for work being performed.
  • Accurate completion of all documentation and production reporting following Company and Quality guidelines.
  • All other duties as assigned.
