How will you make an impact? The Inventory Analyst analyzes current inventory levels as well as transactions related to the movement or transfer of materials both within the site as well as to external sources.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or materials management, preferably in a manufacturing or tech environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control processes, material ordering, and supply chain coordination.
  • Proficient in Excel , including the ability to analyze data, manage inventory spreadsheets, and generate reports.
  • Experience with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for inventory management and reporting.
  • Expertise in conducting root cause analysis to identify and address inventory discrepancies and improve accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively monitor and adjust inventory levels based on production needs and forecasts.
  • Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of relevant software packages.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of presenting information to various stakeholders, including management, suppliers, and 3PL partners.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Experience in reviewing financial reports related to inventory (backflush, consumption, etc.) and providing actionable feedback.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
  • Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, adapt to changing production and inventory demands, and be on-call when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with 3PL partners and knowledge of 3PL inventory systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and follows-up of Cycle Counts.
  • Analyzes discrepancies.
  • Provides Solutions to Workcells.
  • Analyzes performance metrics such as: down time, inventory adjustments, rework list, Backflush integrity, material returns, line inventory.
  • Reviews Material flow.
  • Authorizes adjustments of inventory discrepancies.
  • Provides follow-up on Financial Reports (Backflush variations, consumption, etc.).
  • Reviews RMA Processes.
  • Leads a team of other Inventory Analysts.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
