About The Position

URBN is searching for an Inventory Analyst to join the Global Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will have a data-oriented and analytical background. The Inventory analyst must be able to effectively communicate among different parties and work well with multiple groups/brands even when there are competing priorities.

Requirements

• 2+ years in supply chain field (or applicable internship experience)
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field
• Strong excel skills and competency in building models
• Strong communication skills; able to effectively get points across internal and external teams
• Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment
• Strong attention to detail and good organization skills

Responsibilities

• Help to establish plans for where inventory lives in our ever evolving and complex fulfillment network.
• Inventory Placement accuracy and adherence to said plan.
• Prescribed inventory placement adherence through robust tracking and monitoring of real time inventory placement and PO writing guidelines
• Vigilance for errors/deviations
• Improving current state and eliminating roadblocks to an optimal network
• Working with brands on improving limiters to an effective spread of inventory throughout our network (exceptions, PO split minimums)
• Becoming our subject matter expert on future automation in the inventory management space
• Being proactive on stockholding/capacity management
• Coordinate across data science, brand forecasts & import timelines, CP and site plans to keep sites healthy and flowing while achieving optimal downstream cost impacts (packages per order)
