Flock Safety is seeking a high-impact Inventory Analyst to bridge the gap between automated system logic and real-world supply chain execution. Serving as the critical operational control point, you will govern daily order creation to ensure inventory is positioned proactively rather than reactively. You will progressively assume full lifecycle ownership of the Mounts & Cables commodity, directly supporting enterprise OKRs by reducing the Order-to-Install (O2I) median and eliminating unnecessary expedited shipping costs. This role directly supports enterprise OKRs related to: Assist in reducing O2I median to ≤21 days Eliminating manual intervention and reactive shipping Enabling BOT-supported proactive shed planning

Requirements

  • Experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations
  • Experience with hub-based distribution models and freight optimization across LTL, truckload, and parcel.
  • Background in managing commodity lifecycles and supporting automated planning systems.
  • Experience partnering with field technicians, warehouse teams, and product management to resolve fulfillment gaps.
  • Ability to work autonomously to solve unique problems and identify root causes in automated ordering systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with operational authority.
  • Proven analytical and decision-making skills within inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience navigating ERP, WMS, or related inventory management systems.
  • High proficiency in Google Sheets for manual data analysis and inventory troubleshooting.
  • Ability to start the workday at 6:00 AM EST to sync with warehouse shipping windows and morning order activation.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Order Governance: Independently review and govern all BOT-generated and manual orders to ensure proper fulfillment methods and sourcing locations.
  • Freight Optimization: Review Non-NDA orders to adjust quantities to Master Carton sizes, eliminate duplicates, and consolidate shipments via UPS Hundredweight, LTL, or Truckload.
  • Strategic Shed Planning: Proactively rebalance inventory between hubs and sheds to support minimum stock levels and reduce emergency replenishment events.
  • Bulk Order Tool (BOT) Oversight: Identify automation errors and inefficiencies, acting as the operational anchor to transition the system from reactive activity to a hub-based LTL replenishment cadence.
  • Commodity Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of the Mounts & Cables category, including replenishment governance, obsolescence mitigation, and BOT rule refinement.
