About The Position

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for the acquisition of hardware, software and peripherals in support of the employee computing needs while maintaining compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards. A successful Inventory Analyst possesses analytical skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills. These skills are necessary to build and maintain supplier relationships, streamline the procurement process, and analyze the data to find cost savings opportunities to help the organization save money. The Inventory Analyst will be tasked with digitally transforming the processes to implement improvements, fulfill internal customer orders and manage inventory. The Inventory Analyst is expected to provide up to day inventory reports and order status. This position reports to Manager of Technology Business Management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years IT or other inventory management experience
  • Associates Degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Comprehensive computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Access databases required)
  • Knowledge of purchasing, and distribution processes
  • Experience in leading process improvement activities
  • Strong written, organizational and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Must be goal oriented, a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Flexible- open to new ideas and taking on new responsibility

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Konica Minolta IT Hardware Inventory is available to support the needs of the KM Business. Recommends to IT Management replenishment inventory
  • Analyze purchasing data and generates monthly Metric Reporting.
  • Skilled in using the Ariba System to track Purchase Order requests.
  • Executes Procurement Contracts for Management
  • Processes new vendor set up and ensures processes are handled timely
  • Skilled in Service Now to process Order requests
  • Resolves vendor billing Discrepancies
  • Collects monthly reporting from various sources to management and posts monthly statistics
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, and internal clients, providing exemplary customer service and support
  • Make decisions and judgments based on standard procedures and demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize several projects and tasks at one time
  • Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with a high level of quality and attention to detail with strong financial analysis skills
  • Ability to respond to situations and respond with the appropriate level of urgency, working in a fast-paced environment with pressure to meet deadlines, often leading others to deliver
  • Demonstrate excellent vendor management skills, included ability to develop and manage business driven supplier relationships
  • Ensure solutions purchased are aligned with IT standard practices
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to gain efficiency and drive digital improvements to processes.
