The Inventory Analyst/ Cycle Counter will be responsible for timely and accurate reconciliation of on-hand inventory and work in production. This position also requires inter-departmental coordination and communication. Role and Responsibilities Perform materials rotation according to FIFO (first in/first out) principles Generate count sheets in ERP (ROSS) via cycle count reports Assist in counts assigned from finance/demand daily list Perform physical counts of raw material, work in production, packaging products and finish goods Assist in reconciling ROSS inventory Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes to inventory Stage materials for production as needed Notify manager of any unforeseen shortages Performs daily checks of area for non-compliance and reports them to the manager Always ensure clean and tidy work area Support all activities to reduce downtime Maintain appropriate records, lot tracking and item quantities issued Obtain appropriate job reports to maintain materials needed for production Manage weekly rework reporting and rotation Take instructions from supervisors Backfill for site Material Handler as needed Any other tasks deemed reasonable and requested by management Follows the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and HCAPP. Qualifications and Education Requirements High School diploma or GED 2 years of manufacturing experience preferably in the food industry Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift Experience with warehouse, inventory control and reconciliation Counting skills are a must Excellent attention to detail Computer skills Experience working in temperature-controlled settings Experience with perishable items Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment Goal oriented & well organized Preferred Skills Able to interact and communicate with the supervisors and team members Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
