About The Position

Ensures all quantities within JDE, PKMS, and Atomic match the physical quantities in storage at the Ankeny facility through continuous cycle counts. The Inventory Cycle counter works with department managers to research discrepancies. In addition to assuring the accuracy of inventory, one must demonstrate knowledge of plan processes to accurately resolve issues with all types of materials. Responsibilities: Conduct cycle counts inventory on a scheduled basis for plant operations, warehouse, and receiving. Perform random audits on outbound shipments to verify accuracy. Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy of 30,000 location warehouses along with two outside warehouses. Monitor transactions across JDE, PKMS, and Atomic and resolve transactional errors that occur between systems. Investigate discrepancies through plant processes and troubleshooting systems. Address issues to reduce or avoid downtime. Support the execution of the O&D Process for the Ankeny Plant. Organize the forms submitted by the Planning Team and submit documents through the O&D SharePoint Portal. Cross-train and serve as a backup to the label room. Responsible for inventory accuracy and cycle count procedure to external financial auditors for year-end audits, quarterly outside warehouse audits, and month-end reconciliation. Report missing case I.D. labels and damaged or mislabeled products to appreciate departments. Work with department supervisors to correct issues. Monitor and replace rack labels as necessary. Conducts lockdowns of products based on food safety or quality reasons. Responsible for following GMPs. Has a critical role in assuring food safety and quality within the manufacturing environment by upholding food safety and regulatory policies and responsibilities. Responsible for following cGMP’s Ensure all food safety and quality records are completed accurately and timely.

Requirements

  • High school education or G.E.D.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Good math and communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to perform those skills in a neat, organized, and meaningful way.
  • Decision-making abilities and handling of multiple priorities.
  • Ability to be entrusted with confidential information and materials.
  • Ability to work well with people at all levels.
  • Possess the ability to work efficiently without close supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of warehouse information systems, Policies, and practices is preferred.
  • Proficiency inJDE, PKMS, Atomic, and Microsoft SharePoint are preferred.
