About The Position

Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to maintain accurate inventory of finished goods across the Lamb Weston North American network. This analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day resolution of internal and external warehouse and inventory reporting and reconciliation issues, while supporting customer orders and shipments.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years related experience.
  • Ability to self-direct work to meet department needs.
  • Ability to collaborate and independently complete complex resolutions to inventory problems.
  • Ability to learn software solutions and become system and subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares Non-PO vouchers with account numbers and validate charges/rates for warehouse invoices.
  • Will do Goods Receipts for service-related PO’s.
  • Assist with monthly accrual.
  • Travel to plant/warehouse locations for annual physical inventories and cycle counts to perform an audit.
  • Provide explanation/assistance to External/Internal Audit where applicable.
  • Enter daily goods receipts, goods issues, and adjustments using various warehouse documents.
  • Review Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transaction uploads to assist with IDOC errors.
  • Follow up on inventory variances and errors to resolve in a timely manner.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly record comparisons for 40+ warehouses across North America to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Communicate open issues clearly and consistently to plant/warehouse locations for resolution.
  • Create entries to adjust inventory balances.
  • Enter subcontracting transactions as well as receive purchase orders for co-pack locations.
  • Create monthly warehouse billing for damage and lost product.
  • Send dump requests to warehouses to remove outdated/damaged inventory.
  • Scan, upload, and index inventory accounting documents into BMI software.
  • Cross train with department members and be able to provide back up support.
  • Enter customer orders and return orders for inventory shipment discrepancies.
  • Send out shipment verifications to plants for transfer load discrepancies and enter Standard Transfer Order (STO) to adjust.
  • Review In-Transit and Open Orders report to research late goods issue/receipts.
  • Reconciliation of warehouse physical inventories and cycle counts to SAP.
  • Prepares and sends quarterly cycle count forms to participating warehouses.
  • Coordinates with Customer Operations to create donation orders for charitable organizations and milk sales.
  • Assist with the implementation of process improvement initiatives or other tasks as assigned.
  • Drive business actions with ad hoc inventory level, inventory disposal, and inventory level forecasting
