Analyst - SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

The SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Analyst will assist in the preparation of the Company’s 10-K and 10-Q filings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or above) in accounting, finance
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Excel (Power BI a plus)
- Inquisitiveness and willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of the Company’s financial statements, footnotes to financial statements, and MD&A disclosures
- Prepare supporting workpapers for various sections of the Company’s 10-Ks, 10-Qs, earnings releases and supplemental investor reports, collaborating with various divisions within the Company
- Ensure accuracy of financial reports through review and maintenance of data connections in Wdesk, the financial reporting platform used by the Company
- Analyze key financial and property operating metrics, identifying trends and providing variance explanations for use in financial statement review and management reporting
- Support external and internal auditor requests and assist in the production of the quarterly financial statement tie out binder to facilitate timely audit processes
- Assist in creation and design of Power BI reports utilized internally
- Provide support for process improvement and automation initiatives
