Greets and assists internal and external customers in a courteous and respectful manner that presents a positive public image Checks clients in. Makes sure all sign-ins and client information is updated per visit. Reschedules clients and notifies clients of any appointment changes when necessary. Answers the phone, screens calls, takes messages, transfers calls. Confirms client’s appointments. Collects and verifies client and family income, residency, and insurance status. Registers clients and makes appointments into appropriate clinics based on client needs and clinic guidelines, both in HMS and the electronic oral health record. Processes records requests and dental referrals. Scans documents into client’s oral health records. Posts superbills and processes billing of superbills.
