Part-Time Interventionists
About The Position
Woburn Public Schools Interventionist (Part-Time) Elementary (Kindergarten - 5th Grade) The Elementary Interventionist will work with students in small group settings across Kindergarten through Grade 5, providing targeted academic support in alignment with the Massachusetts DESE curriculum. The Interventionist will support students performing below grade level in reading, mathematics, and other core content areas. This role collaborates closely with classroom teachers, administrators, content and reading specialists, and support staff to deliver research-based interventions and monitor student progress with the ultimate goal of improving academic outcomes. Reports To: Principal and/or Curriculum Coordinator.
Requirements
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
- Proficiency in using student data systems and technology-based instructional tools
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
