About The Position

Planning, coordinating, collaborating, and executing a data-driven program which includes assessing students, analyzing data, setting measurable targets for both short and long-term improvement, and for faculty: coordinating literacy and math instructional resources. Delivery of small group interventions and 1:1 instructional support for students requiring additional academic support will routinely occur. The focus is on enhancing the instructional needs and support for students who are below academic levels. This full-time position will work with staff to deliver an elementary/middle school program that meets or exceeds state standards and coordinate with the staff, parents, and community to integrate and diversify instruction. This position is responsible for monitoring and enforcing building safety and security; assisting in planning and implementing student programs; and assisting in the development and implementation of the school improvement plan. Requirements

  • 2 years of College Experience
  • 1 year of experience in a K-8 education setting
  • Basic Computer knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Support tutoring
  • Implementation of designed interventions
  • Prepare lesson plans for intervention groups
  • Consult/collaborate with classroom teachers on student needs and progress
  • Assist with progress monitoring
  • Actively support the MTSS/RTI team
  • Maintain documentation of student needs, goals, and progress in each group.
  • Support as a substitute, on an as-needed basis.
  • Support all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
