About The Position

Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct Interventional Radiology Tech experience are eligible for a $7,500 sign-on bonus! $4.75/hr specialty differential applies. To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, you must be hired into a full-time or part-time position; PRN positions are not eligible. Some exclusions apply. The Interventional Radiology Tech provides quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department and perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. This role follows standards of safe radiation practice and demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists, while also acting as a clinical resource to the unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit. Interventional Rad Tech provides quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department, and perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. The Interventional Rad Tech Non Registered follows standards of safe radiation practice, and demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. This role acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.

Requirements

  • One year imaging experience strongly preferred
  • HS/GED required
  • Associates degree strongly preferred
  • Colorado Surgical Assistant License upon hire unless performing Surgical Assistant duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only)
  • Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required
  • ACLS through American Heart Association preferred
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology - R.T. (R)(VI)(ARRT)
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology - R.T. (R)(VI)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CV)(ARRT) required

Nice To Haves
