About The Position

Overview Department: Interventional Radiology Schedule: Full Time, Mon-Fri Days (start time between 7a-8:30a) and participation in the on call rotation Facility: Resurrection Medical Center Location: Chicago, IL Sign on bonus: Up to $10,000.00 Looking for those with Neuro experience Great opportunity for new grad or experienced X-Ray techs to move into Interventional Radiology! Responsibilities Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Requirements

ARRT-R and licensed as required by State; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred.
BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
Proficient computer skills.
