Operates digital radiographic imaging equipment, pressure injector, ultrasound units, patient monitoring devices and other equipment appropriate to procedures. Sets up sterile trays and performs appropriate sterile prep of patient, is able to maintain integrity of sterile field throughout procedure Handles medication/contrast solutions on and off the field. Maintains knowledge of location, use and technical function of exam specific equipment to include: catheters, guidewires, and other specialty equipment. Utilizes time appropriately with respect to patient flow and room use. Responsible for procedure room being cleaned and maintained with supplies, sterile stock and procedure trays, rotates sterile stock and checks expiration dates prior to use. Produces accurate computer documentation for the technologist workflow including logging supplies and implants. Interacts professionally and courteously with patients, co-workers, and medical staff.Required qualifications:Maintains current A.R.R.T. registration and standards, holds a valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license.For positions requiring call takes call on a rotating basis as assigned by the supervisor after normal working hours. On-call response time is no longer than 1 hour however 45 minutes or less is the standard. Pay Range: $48.00 - $78.46The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
