This is a per diem interventional radiology technologist role that will be utilized on an as needed basis. We perform vascular procedures under moderate sedation. The center is open Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm. You will need ARRT and state RT license. Come join us in the only JCAHO accredited outpatient only ambulatory surgical center in the Mountain West performing high end Interventional Radiology! We are a brand new state of the art facility with new equipment and two of the most experienced IRs in the region with a full complement of nursing staff performing the full gamut of the latest complex and interesting procedures that include peripheral arterial disease, UFEs, prostate embolizations, liver embolizations, percutaneous dialysis AV fistula creations, dialysis interventions, venous ablations, peritoneal dialysis catheter placement, biopsies, chemotherapy port placement and venous access. We are looking for an enthusiastic learner who aspires to be a leader and a vital member of our fabulous team! PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Supports FMCNA’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and policy requirements. Assists physicians in performing all types of interventional radiology procedures. Responsible for the operation and quality control of the radiological equipment in accordance with FMC policies, procedures and training. Assists with the inventory and ordering of supplies.
