RP Sol is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant to support our growing practice in Tucson, AZ! Proficient with fluoroscopic (static or dynamic) and invasive procedures, such as, GI, GU, HSG, arthrograms, steroid joint injections / aspirations, assist or perform intravenous contrast injections and other contrast agents used in Radiology under the supervision of a radiologist, as well as closely monitoring patients for adverse reactions. Experience with paracentesis, thoracentesis, ultrasound/CT guided biopsies, tunneled catheters. arthrogram procedures. Willing to learn US guided procedures or other new skills over time. Multi-modality (CT, MR, etc.) to help in other departments as needed. Reviews Images and provide feedback of the studies performed in the form of a technical report to assist the radiologist in the interpretation of specified studies. Monitor status of patient exams to ensure patients have completed the necessary documents and are educated on their medical care. Must be able to communicate calmly, compassionately, and professionally with all different types of patients exercising excellent customer service skills. The ability to work effectively with other employees and maintain a cooperative working relationship intra-departmentally and inter-departmentally. Ability to assist management with quality control tasks and/or administration of daily site schedules. Scope of practice will be driven by the needs of the Radiology department as determined by the radiologists and in accordance with state and/or federal laws. Perform any other duties as assigned.
