About The Position

Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, Brooklyn Campus, with Onsite Interventional Radiology Physician. The Radiologist is expected to do the following: Capacity to perform a wide range of Interventional services including imaging based percutaneous procedures, venous/arterial angiography guided procedures. Willing and capable to participate in our multidisciplinary Tumor Board with intent to coordinate care in our active liver directed therapy program. Possess appropriate skills and ability to interpret general radiology exams contributing to our diagnostic team productivity. Provide comprehensive care to our diverse population. Provide day-to-day care of Veteran patients presenting with radiology and interventional needs in inpatient and outpatient settings .

Requirements

  • United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Valid BLS
  • Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
  • Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.

Responsibilities
