About The Position
The Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist assists physicians in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. This role requires strong technical expertise, patient care skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Active state license (required at submission)
- Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience with Epic Systems
Responsibilities
- Assist in interventional radiology procedures using imaging guidance.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment.
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment during procedures.
- Monitor patient condition and ensure safety throughout procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation using systems such as Epic Systems .
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards.
