About The Position

UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks an Interventional Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology. A sub-specialty interest in Neuro-Interventional is desired but not required. We welcome and support physician caregivers from all Academic Ranks to apply and join us in our relentless pursuit of healing. About our Department: We are comprised of ~100 Radiologists, 28 residents, and 10 fellows as well as approximately 25 research faculty and 5 full-time educators, providing comprehensive imaging services through a fully integrated health care system in central Massachusetts. We are the primary academic medical center for UMass Chan Medical School. Our department has state of the art imaging equipment and a fully integrated IT infrastructure EMR (EPIC), PACS, PS-1 and has been at the forefront of implementation of a wide range of AI algorithms. There are numerous opportunities to purse individual interests in medical student education, Health Services or basic science research and AI, supported by a robust Radiology clinical trials office and image processing core labs. Multiple radiology subspecialties are welcomed

Requirements

You must be comfortable with routine interventional radiology procedures to include the following: dialysis, venous access, biliary and GI/GU interventions, and drainages and our IR team support robust programs in women’s health (UFE), transplant interventions, Interventional Oncology, VTE with DVT and PE thrombosis as part of the rapid response team, TIPS and portal hypertension.
Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology is required with CAQ or ABR certification.
You should be interested in working in an academic medical center department, with expectations of teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and participating in and initiating research.
