Interventional Cardiologist Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Interventional Cardiology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Billings, MT • Service Setting: Inpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Mar 18 - Jul 31, 2026 • Shifts needed to be filled: - Mar 18(8a) - 23(6a) - Apr 1(6a) - 6(6a); flexible a bit on weekdays - Apr 8, 9, 10-12, 14, 24(6a) - 27(6a) - Jun 11/12(6a) - 15(6a), 17/18(6a) - 22(6a) • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shift Schedule: Primarily weekend coverage w/ a few other dates • Call Schedule: TBD • Call Type: Beeper • Call Response Time: 20 mins • Call Ratio: 1:3 • Callback: 20% • Phone Consults: 2 • Patient Volume: 6-10 • No. of Cases: 5-10 per day (lighter on weekends) • No. of STEMIs: 10-15 per month • Admissions: 2 • Rounding Included: Yes • Support Staff: 3 RNs • Required Procedures: - Cath lab - IP Cardiology (ICU) - STEMI, Invasive cardiology: diagnostic - PA catheter placement, IABP (Intra Aortic Balloon pump) placement, Cardiac catheterization, Heart biopsy - Invasive cardiology: Interventional, Angioplasty: PTCA, Intracoronary stent placement & Atherectomy. • Beds in the Dept: 32 • Trauma Level: I • EMR: Cerner • Other Info: Covering a maternity leave • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
