About The Position

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is accepting applications for the Intervention Program Technician positions for the 2026 Migrant Education Summer School. The Migrant Education Summer School will be administered from June 2, 2026 through June 26, 2026. Staff will be selected based on the enrollment and program needs of the students, bilingual preferred due to high levels of family interactions. Staff will be working with students both in the classroom and on the playground/or outside. May perform basic first aid services. DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION: OPEN TO INTERNAL CURRENT FUESD EMPLOYEES ONLY APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 20, 2026 - 4:00 p.m. LENGTH OF WORK PERIOD: 18 Instructional Days, 6/02/2026 - 6/26/2026, Non Work Day 6/19/2026, up to 5 extra hours available if needed across 18 days. 1 hour mandatory Organizational Meeting, April 22, 2026, 3:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. in District Office Room 5 & 6 1 Mandatory Meeting/Prep Day, 6/1/2026 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 pm WORK SITE: Fallbrook Stem Academy WORK SCHEDULE: 5.5 hours/day, 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. MIGRANT EDUCATION SUMMER PROGRAM: 6/02/2026 - 6/26/2026, Monday - Friday SALARY: Intervention Program Technician - Step 7, $26.31/hour REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Experience working under the direction of a classroom teacher providing small group instruction. Ability to work indoors/outside. Experience or training managing student behaviours and small groups. Ability to supervise students outside. Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associate’s Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; experience working with people of various cultures; one (1) year of paid or volunteer experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable, supplemented by courses in childcare, supervision, psychology or guidance; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired.
