About The Position

SUMMARY: Works directly with the provider to accurately verbally interpret Spanish/English during the patient visit, ensuring meaning and context is maintained. $15.75 - 17.50 DOE. Employee's can receive up to $520 on the quarterly bonus.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be fluent in Spanish, preferably certified as a medical interpreter.
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Accompany provider into the counseling visit with the patient and accurately interpret the counseling session between the patient and provider.
  • Perform any ancillary duties required by the provider during and after the visit.
  • When not working as an interpreter, will perform duties as assigned by the care manager coordinator which could include but are not limited to:
  • Work on reports
  • Assist staff in the clinic with miscellaneous tasks and processes.
