About The Position

Interpreter CareArc is looking for an Interpreter to join our team! The interpreter is responsible for providing accurate interpretation and translation of critical clinical information in direct service to health care providers who are seeing patients who cannot speak or understand English, when specifically required by the provider. Primary Functions Precisely and accurately interpret critical clinical advice and information given by the provider into equivalent terminology in the patient's native language. Assist in translating clinical text from English on behalf of internal and external customers; may translate patient education information as specifically requested. Establish and maintain quality service and positive interaction with all patients, customers, visitors, health care providers, and clinical employees. Assist with patient follow-up as necessary, to include contacting patients with appointment reminders. Schedule patients in a computerized practice management system. Maintain appointment schedule and follow office scheduling policies. Call and remind patients of upcoming appointments. Perform other administrative and clerical duties in support of the medical care teams.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
