About The Position

The Cincinnati Office of 1919 Investment Counsel is currently offering a paid, summer 2026 internship to a college student entering their junior or senior year of college. The Intern will provide project support to the Cincinnati office team by working with our Responsible Investment Research Team and our Responsible Investment Portfolio Managers. The Intern will learn about our investment processes and assist the team with various responsible investing research and general investment projects. The Intern may provide support for 1919’s climate-aware investment strategy. The Intern will have a strong interest in responsible investing and financial markets. The Intern will comply with firm policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher desired.
  • Intellectual curiosity, strong attention to detail, problem-solving mentality.
  • Experience using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required.
  • Strong writing, research, and organizational skills.
  • A professional, respectful demeanor and team-oriented personality.
  • Comfortable working independently and on long- and short-term projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in the Cincinnati Office.
  • A junior or senior in college, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related area.
  • 1919 also welcomes STEM, Social Sciences, and Humanities majors such as Political Science or Environmental Science who have an interest in Financial Services.

Responsibilities

  • Attend Investment Meetings with the Team.
