About The Position

Amazing Internship Opportunities available at Desert Mountain Club, one of the finest private golf and recreational clubs in North America and the #1 Platinum Club in Arizona! Summer Internship dates: (06/08/2026 - 08/15/2026). Internships are available in the following areas: Food and Beverage and Accounting. Ideally recent graduates or currently enrolled in a hospitality program. At Desert Mountain Club, We have crafted a 10-week Internship Program dedicated to building the next generation of Club and Hospitality industry leaders. Our program is designed to introduce you to multiple facets of the club industry while focusing on the integral elements of leadership. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience throughout departments in order to experience all aspects of Club Operations. Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude, a drive to learn, and a strong work ethic.
Candidates must be a recent graduate, or currently enrolled in an accredited hospitality program.
Required to stand and walk – Constantly
Required to talk or hear – Regularly
Required to push, pull, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds – Frequently
Required to stand for long periods of time.
Required to work; days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Assist managers and team members in the different departments.
Actively participate in leadership development courses
Complete weekly assignments
Rotate through line-level positions to gain operational perspective
Attend departmental leadership meetings
Practice three steps of service - warm welcome, friendly compliance and fond farewell - in every department.
Use member name recognition.
Maintain high level member/guest experiences at all times while keeping in mind we are family serving family.
Constantly train and develop Club operations knowledge.
Assist fellow team members as situations arise.
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
Uses L.A.S.T. when solving challenges - Listen, Apologize, Solve, and Thank.
Other duties as assigned by management.
