Requirements

  • 3rd or 4th year student of a HBO/WO study in HR, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Available for a minimum of 4 days per week (thesis possible).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; enjoys working with data and turning insights into action.
  • A proactive, curious, and creative thinker who is able to connect the dots and challenge the status quo.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines at the same time.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Able to work independently, while also thriving in cross-functional and international collaboration.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship.
  • Must meet Dutch law eligibility criteria: either an EU citizen, on a Family/Partner visa, or a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands where the internship is a mandatory part of the curriculum OR the university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).

Responsibilities

  • Supporting compensation and benefits analyses, reporting, and benchmarking activities.
  • Working with HR analytics and people data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities—connecting the dots between data, business needs, and outcomes.
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of Compensation and Benefits policies, guidelines, and processes.
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Store Operations, and Regional HR teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • Preparing clear, professional, and on-brand presentations and materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting the Compensation and Benefits Manager with projects related to annual performance review cycle, day-to-day activities, project coordination, and ad-hoc problem solving in a fast-paced, international environment.
