About The Position

At VSP Vision, we're on a mission to help people see every possibility—and we do that through our strategic business pillars that work together to connect nearly 90 million patients and their health data to network doctors in a variety of settings across the globe. You'll join the Strategic Finance team responsible for providing decision makers with business insights. As the Finance Intern, you'll have the unique opportunity to partner with data, finance, and strategy experts and support a dynamic team across its primary functions. You’ll have the unique opportunity to gain a broad range of experience in the many elements that contribute to the daily operations of a multi-faceted enterprise and develop critical business competencies through various tasks. During this internship, you may assist with the following duties: Culling data Visualization strategies and dashboard builds Synthesis of data into actionable insights Supporting the preparation of presentations and reports for senior leadership Conducting variance analysis and performance Reporting

Requirements

Facilities to work remotely, including private or semi-private workspace
Access to high-speed internet
Technology will be provided
3rd year/4th year undergraduate students
Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a similar discipline
June 1 to Aug 7th (You must be able to work the full 10 weeks)
Strong problem-solving, data-driven, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
