About The Position

Arclin is seeking a motivated and analytical intern to support the Elastomers, a
key business within the Arclin portfolio. This internship will provide data
analysis to understand our capability and cost structure. In Addition, the
candidate will support business analysis to support optimization of the customer
and product portfolio. This will include developing value-based pricing models
for dispersions. The candidate will also help manage improvement and outsourcing
programs.

The intern will work closely with Elastomer leadership and stakeholders to
support ongoing initiatives related to turnaround of the St. Clair (Ohio)
manufacturing site, Elastomer’s primer rubber chemicals dispersions
manufacturing plants.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Chemical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience with data analysis
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving

Nice To Haves

• Experience preparing presentations using PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
• Prior internship or project-based experience in manufacturing or industrial operations

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis to support understanding of operational capability, capacity, and cost structure
• Assist with business analysis efforts focused on customer and product portfolio optimization
• Support project management activities, including coordination related to external outsourcing programs and internal process initiatives
• Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights to leadership
• Collaborate remotely with Elastomers team members and engage with the St. Clair plant team as needed
