About The Position

Internship - 2026 MBA Strategy Intern – Corporate Strategy The role of MBA Strategy Intern is intended to start in Summer 2026. Interns work on projects that represent real challenges faced by 3M's business units and mirror the work conducted by full-time members of the department. Through networking and corporate-sponsored events, interns are exposed to many facets of 3M. An internship is a temporary position within 3M. Interns typically work a full-time schedule throughout a 10-12 week assignment. This position is limited to working 899 hours per service credit year. This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career. Each internship will differ based on business needs. Projects can include any or all the following focus areas: · Strategy Planning: Supporting the annual strategic planning process in partnership with business groups and corporate functions · Strategic Projects : Creating clear, compelling presentations and reports with insights on strategic direction for senior leadership · Market Analysis: Evaluating market attractiveness by conducting external research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks across key industries and geographies · Competitive Analysis: Analyzing data and assessing strategic moves, capabilities, and positioning of key players to identify insights for strategic decision-making · Execution & Project Management: Assisting with content creation and logistics for executive-level meetings and conferences Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: · Currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree, or higher, from an accredited institution

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree, or higher, from an accredited institution

Nice To Haves

• Previously obtained a Bachelor’s degree, or higher, from an accredited institution
• Completed a minimum of one semester by the start of the internship
• Current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
• Completion of two of the required classes in the major, minor or concentration
