The Opportunity Adobe generated ~$2 2 B revenue in FY 202 4 and has completed ~$10B in strategic acquisitions since 2018. Our Corporate Development team identifies, sources, evaluates, and executes Adobe’s inorganic growth strategy, including acquisitions and investments. Much of our time is spent with Adobe's business unit VPs and Product Managers, but we also work closely with the Corporate Strategy team on big picture projects from the Adobe executives.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program and graduating between December 2026 – June 2027
  • Excellent quantitative and f inancial model ing skills , including valuation work ; robust understanding of core Accounting/Finance concepts and general acquisition/investment workflow/process
  • Demonstrated experience influencing and communicating effectively across all levels and teams across the organization; superior communication (written and verbal)
  • Proven experience leading with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and deliver desired outcomes
  • External facing communication and relationship management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of software development and architecture is a plus
  • Understanding of legal aspects related to transaction work is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal partners to develop strategic investment themes and assess potential acquisition and investment opportunities
  • Identify product gaps, evaluate build/partner/buy options, and collaborate on target selection
  • Conduct comprehensive, meticulous analyses to influence decision-making, including competitive landscapes, valuation, financial analysis etc.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the M&A process (e.g., due diligence, data rooms, internal approvals/ updates), M&A integration workstreams/handoff
  • Establish a robust understanding of new customer segments, industry trends, market positioning, and emerging companies
  • Develop external network of industry specialists to bring outside-in knowledge of market trends and opportunities
