Our online presence is a critical driver of showroom traffic and sales performance, and we are looking for a results-driven Internet Sales Manager to lead and grow our digital pipeline. The Internet Sales Manager is responsible for driving inbound lead conversion, managing digital customer interactions, and maximizing appointment show rates and sales performance. This role will oversee internet leads from initial inquiry to showroom visit, ensuring fast response times, consistent follow-up, and a high level of customer engagement. This is a high-impact, revenue-focused role with direct influence on dealership growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive internet sales or sales management

Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming internet leads (website, third-party, social media, and chat)
  • Ensure rapid response times (calls, texts, emails) to maximize engagement
  • Set, confirm, and track customer appointments with a focus on show rate and sold rate
  • Lead, train, and hold the internet team accountable to performance metrics
  • Develop and execute follow-up processes to increase lead conversion
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff and customer experience
  • Monitor CRM activity to ensure consistent and effective communication
  • Analyze performance data (lead sources, closing ratios, appointment metrics) and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, scripts, and customer engagement
