International Technology Cooperation Specialist, Lead The Opportunity: As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. As an international technology cooperation specialist, you’ll bring your leadership, strategic, analytic, international affairs, and technology program management expertise to work alongside thought leaders in research, development, and acquisition. You’ll use your experience from the defense industry, government, or military on projects for land systems modernization and interoperability. Apply your skills and expertise to develop, assess, and monitor cooperative projects with international partners, program offices, and stakeholders, including geographic combatant command regions. You’ll lead activities supporting Service Headquarters strategy, planning, and engagement with international allies and partners on materiel solutions development, as well as security assistance. Success will depend on employing knowledge and experience with research, development, and acquisition in establishing goals and projects for improving cooperation. Requirements

  • Experience in research, development, or defense acquisition programs
  • Experience in international affairs at a service headquarters, program office, or regional command
  • Knowledge of service headquarters’ organization, roles, and missions
  • Knowledge of capabilities development lifecycle processes
  • Ability to conduct material solution development, planning, assessment, or execution with technical experts
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or International Affairs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in international agreements development or negotiation
  • Experience in data analysis, engineering, or technology development
  • Knowledge of FMS case development and execution
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in Engineering or International Affairs
  • DAWIA, PMP, Generative AI, or Security Cooperation Workforce Certification

Responsibilities
