International Student Coordinator
About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Director, Center for International Programs and Services, the International Student Coordinator will serve as the main advisor for F-1 and J-1 international students and be responsible for managing and providing immigration and visa-related service functions while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and reporting requirements. The International Student Coordinator will also serve as a back-up ARO for the ERAU J-1 exchange visitor program and supports the Director as a DSO for the ERAU Prescott F-1 visa program. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years of professional work experience
- Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to learn and use new technologies, look at challenges from a unique perspective, and support international education generally
- Ability to monitor and effectively report progress towards articulated goals
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Enthusiasm, commitment and dedication to the improvement of the student university experience
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main advisor for F-1 and J-1 international students
