About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Director, Center for International Programs and Services, the International Student Coordinator will serve as the main advisor for F-1 and J-1 international students and be responsible for managing and providing immigration and visa-related service functions while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and reporting requirements. The International Student Coordinator will also serve as a back-up ARO for the ERAU J-1 exchange visitor program and supports the Director as a DSO for the ERAU Prescott F-1 visa program. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years of professional work experience
  • Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to learn and use new technologies, look at challenges from a unique perspective, and support international education generally
  • Ability to monitor and effectively report progress towards articulated goals
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Enthusiasm, commitment and dedication to the improvement of the student university experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main advisor for F-1 and J-1 international students
  • Manage and provide immigration and visa-related service functions
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and reporting requirements
