International Quality Sr Manager reports directly to the MFC Vice President of Quality and provides direct support to the International Operations Director. The selected candidate will integrate across the various Lines of Business and functional leadership teams to support sales, offsets, rate enablers and munitions acceleration through application of quality principles to international production, coproduction or sustainment. This individual will coordinate activities to ensure Quality tasks are defined and accounted for in all new and existing international opportunities. The role will ensure LOBs engagement and optimize the use of all deployed international Quality resources to support International Production Operations global producers/partners execution. Role ensures that all activities have processes and procedures in place to ensure quality products and services that meet Lockheed Martin standards regardless of where produced. The role will ensure establishment or verification of a qualified quality management systems at the international production site to include the following quality disciplines as required: Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering & Analytics, Metrology, Product Inspection, Test and Acceptance. Role requires a multifunctional and business acumen allowing effective support of the multi-disciplined team. Given the various foreign locations, critical nature of MFC products and customer needs, this position may require international travel, overtime, irregular hours and weekends to meet program milestones. Duties include: · Frequently interfaces with Sr. Leadership across MFC Ops/domestic production, LOBs, GSC, EHS, Security, Engineering, DCMA and others providing timely and consistent reporting on international coproduction/sustainment · Define and maintain quality standard work for international coproduction/Sustainment and international supplier development · Develop, lead meeting tempo between Functional and LOB stakeholders to effectively report on the international quality execution plan to include risk identification/mitigation · Establish regular interface with DCMA to ensure appropriate delegations are in place for to support DCMA international activities and to engage and coordinate as necessary resolution of customer corrective action requests. · Develop tools to support Co-Producer/Sustainment quality performance metrics and corrective action plans – package and present data to key stakeholders across MFC · Coordinate new business proposal activity with LOB’s to include scheduling, staffing and budget estimates - special projects and studies as required (ex: capacity, rate growth, new source options, etc.) · Facilitate functional staffing discussions to support expat and repatriation placement.
