About The Position

As an International Manufacturing Manager, you will drive global manufacturing performance improvement through equipment, process engineering, and product engineering collaboration. Duties & Responsibilities: Manufacturing Process Leadership Coach International manufacturing engineering and operations management for development. Lead technical process improvement and troubleshooting support on metal and plastic fabrication processes. Drive global productivity as measured by process KPIs. Align international sites on operations standards (GOS) Production Equipment Strategy Manage fleet of manufacturing equipment identifying risks, supporting significant downtime recovery. Maintain and update global proprietary machine design drawing catalog. Lead global machine maintenance strategy with systems to improve asset availability. Review and support new capital equipment business case development driving productivity improvements with standardization. Operations Support and Technical Expertise Introduce new advances in manufacturing equipment and tooling. Assess overall operations performance and drive improvement actions. Maintain knowledge of shop floor operations, product mix and characteristics, and general business processing requirements. Accommodate occasional requests for support outside of essential functions listed above as required to support business objectives.

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.
  • Minimum of five years of operations management experience driving efficiency improvements.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing technology and processing methods.
  • Experience in at least 2 of the following: Stamping, Forging, CNC Machining, Casting, or Plastic Injection Molding
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerBI
  • Familiarity with MRP and capacity and production planning software.
  • Experience coaching and teaching is required.
  • Experience preparing and presenting to large group of professionals.
  • Proven ability to simultaneously handle a wide assortment of projects involving several departments and locations.
  • Project management experience is essential.
  • Must possess mobility to work in a standard plant and office setting and to use standard office. equipment, including computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
