We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a International Tax Manager to join our National Tax team in our Miami office! CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week. YOUR TEAM. This position will support our International Tax Team, which in turn supports the firm’s broader tax practice. The right candidate will have a growth mindset and look for ways to expand their knowledge within both the tax space associated with their specialized services and varying industries. They will also be eager to collaborate on thought leadership, webinars, and seminars while remaining results focused on assisting both internal and external clients in achieving their wide-ranging business goals. YOUR ROLE. Responsibilities include but not limited to: As an International Tax Manager, you will be focusing on tax compliance and planning for individuals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
  • International Tax experience required
  • BS/BA accounting preferred; MST preferred or LLM preferred, CPA or JD degree required
  • Demonstrated research and writing skills a must; proposal development experience desired
  • Demonstrated compliance, management and review skills
  • Proven competence with MS Office and tax compliance and research software

Responsibilities

  • Manage and review US international forms and elections
  • Completing US tax compliance and planning duties of US expatriates (Section 911, FTC, treaty analysis, etc) and US nonresidents
  • Lead technical research on both inbound and outbound cross-border planning
  • Train and coach seniors and associates on international tax compliance and consulting
