Requirements

  • 5–7 years of recruiting experience in an agency or corporate environment.
  • Proven ability to manage searches from intake to acceptance.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation skills across multiple disciplines.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and resume databases such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Established professional network within HR and/or business leadership communities.
  • Self-starter mindset with a passion for results and client satisfaction.
  • A natural curiosity and consultative approach to uncovering client and candidate needs.

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, and support a portfolio of recruiting clients, including business development and account management.
  • Conduct detailed intake meetings with clients to define ideal candidate profiles and search strategy.
  • Source strong, diverse talent using creative strategies — networking, advertising, and leveraging Lakeside’s ATS.
  • Interview and assess candidates to ensure alignment with client needs and culture.
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle — from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and placement.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews and guide them through the process with professionalism and insight.
  • Provide thorough candidate summaries and interview notes to clients.
  • Partner with clients on compensation discussions and assist in final offer presentations.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future opportunities.
  • Coach and mentor Lakeside’s junior recruiters.
  • Represent Lakeside HR Group at networking events and professional functions to promote business growth.
